Yorkshire Rose Holidays started with a handful of trips and a couple of tours but they have gradually grown the business and now, 10 years later, it has increased to around 120 tours and hundreds of day excursions departing from local areas. In December 2017, Yorkshire Rose celebrated a national award win with the fantastic news that they had been crowned ‘London Coach Breaks Operator of the Year’.
The accolades for Yorkshire Rose don’t end there either – they are the only coach operator to ever operate a tour to the 5-star Savoy Hotel in London! Here at Yorkshire Rose Holidays they like to keep things fresh with new and exciting destinations being added all the time as well as old favourites!

Yorkshire Rose Holidays are not only committed to giving their customers exciting and memorable holiday breaks, they are also committed to making their trips sustainable. Their average trip generates 606kg CO2. To more than offset this carbon Yorkshire Rose have pledged to plant a tree for everyone on the bus! Their coaches carry 45 passengers so 45 trees are planted for every trip. Over the next 100 years these trees will sequester more than 16 tonnes of carbon which is 26 times more carbon than the holiday trip is generating. This pledge means that a tree is planted for every 20 miles a coach travels.
Trees play a significant role in mitigating climate change by sequestering carbon (locking it up for many hundreds of years), but they deliver many other sustainable, positive benefits: • Combating climate change • Assisting the delivery of national tree-planting targets • Habitat creation - locally and globally • Mitigating biodiversity loss - locally and globally • Clean air • Flood prevention • Education - growing trees, growing minds! • Community engagement - tree planting events • Making the world a greener place - (Trees that are planted in schools, parks and wildlife reserves play a major role in the well-being of this and future generations) • Creating an ecological heritage for many hundreds of years.
If Yorkshire Rose has planted a tree on your behalf, you’ll receive a unique Tree Code. Simply enter this code here to find out the exact location and species of your tree.
Please note, wherever possible we have used a postcode for its location. If your tree is in woodland and forest, we’ll provide an OS map reference, or latitude and longitude number.
