At Bower, we have always believed that how we do business matters just as much as what we do. We are a UK-based, award-winning company with over 20 years of experience, providing expert advice on mortgages, pensions and investments, equity release and later life lending. But helping people with their finances is only part of the picture. We also care deeply about playing our part in looking after the environment and the communities around us.
Like any business, our day-to-day operations have a carbon footprint. Rather than simply acknowledge that, we wanted to do something practical about it. So since 2021, we have partnered with Tree Appeal to plant a native tree for every new client we work with, as a tangible way of giving something back to the natural world. You can see exactly how many we have planted so far on the counter above, and that number keeps growing.
Every tree is a broadleaf species such as oak, beech or hazel, grown locally from collected seed and planted at schools and nature reserves across the United Kingdom, where it will support local wildlife and biodiversity for years to come.
As our name suggests, Bower means a pleasant shady place under trees. So this felt like exactly the right place to put our efforts. Not as a token gesture, but as something real and lasting.
Just as a tree takes root and grows stronger over time, we are here for the long term with our clients too, reviewing plans, adapting to life's changes, and making sure their financial future remains in good hands.
