Tree planting in Anomabo, Ghana
In 2007 Tree Appeal planted 10,000 trees in and around Anomabo, Ghana as part of their Tree Twinning initiative. The planting was timed to coincide with the bicentenary celebration of the abolition of the Atlantic slave trade and the 50th anniversary of Ghana’s independence.
Here you can see pictures from the tree plantings, a large number of which were fruit trees.
