Planting day at St Francis Catholic Primary School, Bradford

Children aged 8 to 11 at St Francis Catholic Primary School in Bradford took part in Abbey's competition to design an eco garden.
2007 is the 150th Anniversary of the Spanish Bank Santander. Abbey became part of Santander in 2004. To celebrate, they invited six primary schools across the UK, selected by their Community Partnership Group to design an eco friendly garden which can be linked in to the National Curriculum.
For taking part, the school has received £500 to use towards educational materials and had 30 trees planted in and around their school by Tree Appeal.
