Planting at Cramlington AllotmentsPlanting day at Cramlington Post Office Allotments with Eco Media Marketing

April 2024

Cramlington Post Office allotments were visited by representatives of Eco Media Marketing to help plant native broadleaf trees and to celebrate Earth Day 2024. Volunteers from Cramlington Allotment Forum planted the saplings to create a hedgerow which will create wildlife habitats and encourage biodiversity.

“Today we're at Cramlington where we are planting 260 trees on Earth Day... We're giving back to nature and doing real sustainability in real time because we link products and services to planting trees - the lungs of the world!”.
- Robert Little - Eco Media Marketing

The trees are all native British species, grown in the UK and include Hawthorn, Green Beech and Wild Cherry. These new saplings will provide a perfect habitat for wildlife, promoting biodiversity and preserving the natural environment. The volunteers gained hands-on experience of how trees are planted and learned how important trees are to the world in which we live.

“We are here for a tree planting event with Tree Appeal which has been sponsored by Newcastle Building Society and Hamilton Legacy. It's amazing that we can do this as part of the Earth Day celebrations”.
- Maggie Martin, Community and Youth Manager - Cramlington Town Council

Eco Media Marketing has sponsored the planting of 50 trees at Cramlington, demonstrating their commitment to the environment and their aim of reducing their impact on the natural world.
