At Suzanne James Ltd we are fanatical about food. We use only the finest ingredients, ensuring whenever possible they are seasonal, organic and preferably British.
We have an enviable reputation in London for providing delicious, inspiring, innovative food with cutting edge, spectacular presentation enabling us to be at the forefront of the industry. We are approved to work at over 30 London venues, including The Royal Hospital Chelsea, The Cutty Sark, Queens House, Greenwich, Dulwich Picture Gallery, The Mall Galleries, The Foundling Museum and the Museum of the Order of St John, and we are thrilled to be the exclusive caterers at the wonderful Grade II Listed Horniman Conservatory, in the grounds of the Horniman Museum in Forest Hill.

We are proud to be London’s most sustainable caterer and are leading the way in proving that being ethical is advantageous for us, our clients and everyone concerned. We know the toll that modern life is taking on the environment, so we decided when we started this business that we would do everything we could to not only minimise our impact, but also to have a positive effect.
Reduce, Reuse, Recycle is the basis of our work culture and an attitude that we implement at all stages of each event from the sourcing of ingredients to disposal of any waste. We don’t compromise on taste or presentation, but by following eco procedures are able to ensure that the dish in front of each and every guest is not only alluring, but also of optimum nutrition and bursting with flavour. It’s what we like to call eco chic!

In 2007, Sir David Bellamy OBE presented Suzanne with an award, in recognition of the company’s partnership with The Tree Appeal.
Since September 2006, Suzanne James Catering has been working in partnership with Tree Appeal in order to counteract the carbon emissions we generate and to ensure the conservation of our woodlands. Each time we use our vans to an event, a British broad leaved tree is planted in our client’s name. We also give them the option of planting a further 3 trees in order to make their event ‘carbon neutral’. As a result we are delighted to say that so far we have planted over 1000 native British trees!
